Pack an Emergency Kit
Think of this as your wedding day insurance policy.
Whether you keep it yourself or hand it off to your maid of honor, having a few essentials nearby can save the day.
Include items like:

- Stain remover pen
- Blotting papers
- Bobby pins
- Hair ties
- Clear nail polish (great for stopping a snag in tights!)

Wrinkles happen during transportation. Have your dress professionally steamed before the wedding or ask someone you trust to gently steam it while you’re getting ready.
Always follow your boutique’s care instructions, and never put direct heat on delicate fabrics without knowing they’re safe.

Hair? Done. Makeup? Done. Then it’s time for the dress!
Waiting until you’re fully ready helps prevent makeup transfer, keeps your gown clean, and makes getting dressed feel like the special moment it deserves to be.
Assign Someone to Be the Point Person
On your wedding day, your only job should be getting married.
Choose someone you trust, such as a maid of honor, planner, sibling, or close friend, to handle questions from vendors, family members, or guests.
If someone needs an answer, let them ask your point person instead of you. It’s one of the easiest ways to protect your peace!
