Let us in on your love story! How did you and your partner meet? What was the proposal like?
“Max and I met through mutual friends and knew each other for about 5 years before we started dating! We started dating right before the dreaded quarantine and ended up quarantining together while I was out of work for 50 days. Nothing like being together nonstop to know you were meant to be together! Our proposal is a funny story. Max had many plans, he had the ring for 6 months before he proposed…in our kitchen while drunk making frozen pizza…I turned around from the checking the pizza and he was on one knee. It honestly was very fitting for us!”
Tell us about your bridal style! What look were you hoping to achieve? How was your shopping experience?
“My bridal style was vintage boho and I knew I wanted to thrift mostly everything for the wedding. Our wedding started off as something small and grew to a 300-guest list with bands, food trucks, and craziness! I originally wanted to thrift a wedding dress and get it altered to fit me but decided to try on dresses just to see. Bon Bon Belle was my first stop and we had the most amazing time! My bridal consultant was fabulous and knew exactly what my vibe was. Everyone has said my dress felt like it was literally made for me!”
Tell us all about your wedding! Was there a theme you were going for? What moments were really special to you?
“The best moment for me was our arrival to the party. My husband restores classic cars at his business Blue Ribbon Customs and I inherited my dad’s ’67 Firebird. I knew I wanted to arrive in his firebird in celebration of him and the fact that he couldn’t be there. This idea turned into my whole bridal party arriving in classic cars, a lot of burnouts were involved.”
Share anything you loved about your big day; from the small details to the big moments!
“Honestly, it downpoured on us, and for some that may be a huge bummer but it made the night so epic. It ruined some plans but it was so much fun to dance in the rain!”
