We had our ceremony at my husband’s family church- where my in-laws were married.  A gorgeous church in downtown Waukegan. Followed up our reception at Grand Geneva Resort and Spa. The most special moment of the day was stepping out of the bridal suite to see Matt for the first time at the altar. “Yours” by Russell Dickerson playing as I walked with my dad to my best friend who just smiled ear to ear. After not seeing my dress until that moment, he looked at me like I was the most beautiful woman in the world. Another special moment for both of us was our generation dance. Matt’s grandparents have been married 64 years. We got to spend a song dancing with them, we then switched Matt dancing with his grandma and me with his grandpa. Growing up without a grandfather I’m so grateful for my in-laws and loving me as their own, Grandpa Zenner and I just enjoying a sweet dance together. All together our day was a dream. Nothing I could have ever wished for. We are so lucky to have a loving and supportive family who loves us. Our wedding was perfect. I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world.
